SOKOI CREATES NEW LANDSCAPE OF YOGAWEAR
SOKOI was born out of a desire for more comfortable and breathable yoga clothes as an alternative to synthetic activewear. Although today's yoga wear market is dominated by polyester, nylon and other synthetic materials, not all yogis prefer tight leggings with a high compression. Traditional yoga practitioners typically wear loose cotton in wrapped styles for easier movement, and our eco-conscious apparel was designed to support energy flow and sustainable style – allowing you to focus on your yoga asanas.
A CLEANER OPTION
All our garments are made of non-toxic, plant-based materials that do not harm our body and nature. Our earthy and neutral color palettes reflect the diverse landscape of California, where the brand is designed and made.
NOT JUST FOR YOGA
Our plant-based clothing doesn't aim to scream "activewear." Wear SOKOI for yoga, running errands, and everyday adventures. The goal: a combination of comfort, breathability, sustainability and beauty.
THE STORY BEHIND SOKOI
SOKO, OUR FOUNDER
After moving to Los Angeles from Seoul, South Korea during the pandemic, Soko found community through yoga. Frustrated with tight, synthetic activewear that didn't align with her style, she began wearing looser yoga clothing and realized that airier silhouettes helped her connect more deeply with her practice – and that activewear didn't need to be skin-tight to perform well. With that in mind, Soko leaned into her fashion industry background to create SOKOI and tap into yogis' respect for nature and their diverse tastes. Our plant-based garments let yoga lovers express their style without compromising their values.
